Heavy protection kills sensitivity. But unprotected hands develop calluses, cuts, and damage that also reduce sensitivity. QC inspectors need a middle path that provides protection while maintaining tactile precision.
Minimal Effective Protection
Thin self-adhering tape on non-critical surfaces protects vulnerable areas while leaving primary sensing surfaces uncovered. Protect the backs of fingers and knuckles. Leave fingertip pads bare for maximum sensitivity. Rotate protection as different areas become damaged.
